Well here we are in the middle of March, time is flying by.  For current subscribers, you should have received your Spring 2008 issue along with a renewal form for 2008-09.  If you have any problems renewing please let me know and I will help out.  Also for those of you that renew or subscribe over the next week, you may expect a delay in your receipt as I am off to the USITT conference where we have a booth for The Painter's Journal.  If any of you subscribers are at the conference, please look us up on the Expo floor we would enjoy meeting you.

 Dear Painters,

This is my first blog entry on The Painter's Journal website.  I plan to use this blog to update people on what is going on at The Painter's Journal.  This should be a way for me to give some previews of an upcoming issue or to give some up-to-date information about other projects we have going on such as our Young Scenic Artists Contest.  Speaking of the contest, I have received a number of wonderful entries from students all across the U.S.  We are busily packaging these entries and getting ready to ship them off to our judges.  I plan on posting some of the entries on the website after the judging is complete so everyone can see the great work these students are doing in our universities.
